ViewTheirLife ("we", "us") provides stainless steel QR memorial plaques and digital memorial pages. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions: hello@viewtheirlife.com.

What we collect

• Order details — email, shipping name and address, product and payment confirmation (payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
• Memorial content — names, dates, stories, photos and videos you upload to a memorial page.
• Access data — Order ID and email when you sign in to manage a memorial; contributor emails if you invite someone to edit.
• Technical data — basic server logs needed to run and secure the site.

How we use it

• To take payment, fulfil orders and ship plaques.
• To let you create and manage memorial pages linked to your order.
• To email order confirmation, memorial setup links and contributor invites.
• To respond to support requests and improve the service.

Who we share with

We use trusted processors: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Vercel and Neon (hosting and database), and Vercel Blob (media storage). We do not sell your personal data.

Public memorial pages

Content you publish on a memorial URL (for example /m/…) can be viewed by anyone who has the link or scans the plaque QR code. Only share what you are comfortable making public.

Retention

We keep order and memorial data while your memorial is active and as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes. Contact us if you want a memorial removed or personal data deleted where we can do so.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data, and to complain to the ICO (UK). Email hello@viewtheirlife.com to exercise these rights.
